(Breezy) libxt6 tries to overwrite xscreensaver file

I fixed the problem by doing what others suggested:
uninstalling xscreensaver, ubuntu-desktop, and a bunch of
-dev and -dbg packages, then upgrading libxt6 and
reinstalling all the other packages.

Then I hit this bug:

But I got through them all, and now everything's peachy.
