Ubuntu install from LiveCD?

Michael,
I'll second your request. I am starting to see interest in Ubuntu with
non-Linux friends and family. I would prefer to give them a LiveCD to
test out, and if they like it, allow them to install from there. If this
means producing a second ISO image on the servers with all that is taken
out of the first to make this work, so be it. For those on a slow
connection to the Internet, this would be a great thing have. For those
of us fortunate to have fast access, it doesn't matter whether we have
that second CD or not as the rest can be picked up through the mirrors
upon the initial installation from the first (as is typical with
Debian). I would also make the second CD an option upon install. Like
with Red Hat and Mandrake, let there be a question during install that
asks if you have the second one or not. If you don't, it install a
smaller subset, and if you are with a fast connection, all the rest.
This would mean a remastering of the release ISO, I know, but it's my
opinion that this would be a good move since Ubuntu is gaining such
positive momentum and could gain even more with this ability.
