Actually not Oli, just the opposite !
That is, when I install Ubuntu, it comes with the 'nv' driver, and
ddcprobe doesn't work, monitor not detected etc, must tweak xorg.conf by
hand. BUUUT, as soon as I install nvidia-glx, and remove 'nv', ddcprobe
works like a charm ! Go figure....
