my nvidia card consistently treats my LCD monitor as though it's
1024x768 when it's connected via DVI. With the nv driver, this precludes
using my monitor at full 1600x1200 resolution. The binary nvidia driver
seems to get around this somehow, and if I use the VGA connector,
1600x1200 works.
I'm waiting on the the nvidia-glx drivers to return to installability on
breezy so I can switch my monitor back to DVI.
