Screen resolution

My system also had me fixed at 640x480 and would not let me use the
scroll option in screen resolution.  In my xorg.conf file my
resolutions went up 1200x800.  I just removed the smaller resolutions
and rebooted.  When I rebooted the scroll works again and it even
included the 640x480 option.  Is there any chance that this could be a
bug rather than an inconvenience?
