Evolution : how to add more dictionaries (spell checking)

Hello every body,

I installed Ubuntu with the English locale, so when I write an e-mail,
Evolution checks the spelling against this language. I went to the
composer preferences dialog, and saw that you can add more
dictionaries/languages. I looked it up in Evolution's helps pages, and
they say :

" [...] Additional dictionaries are also available through Red Carpet
and are detected automatically if you have installed them"


What is this "Red Carpet" (anything to do with "Red Hat" ? I hope
not ! ;-), where can I find it, how do I install a French (in this case)
dictionary ??
