In response to your post, I've just installed them for the first time :)
They do work for me; but note that the package description suggests
that they may introduce instability...
They do look useful though, and I'm glad to have had my attention drawn
to them. Long term I'll see how stability goes, but I'd be sorry to
loose these extensions.
Flushed by success I've also installed mouse gestures (package
mozilla-mozgest). This also works for me for now...
