Apparently after two suspends my wireless (ipw2200) dies. The device
exists, and it shows a very good connection (quality over 80%), but
dhclient is unable to get a lease. If I rmmod ipw2200 and then modprobe
ipw2200, modprobe fails. dmesg|tail says
[4423198.209000] ipw2200: Detected Intel PRO/Wireless 2200BG Network Connection
[4423199.571000] ipw2200: failed to send TX_POWER command
[4423200.682000] ipw2200: failed to send TX_POWER command
[4423201.792000] ipw2200: failed to send TX_POWER command
[4423202.902000] ipw2200: failed to send TX_POWER command
[4423204.014000] ipw2200: failed to send TX_POWER command
[4423204.014000] ipw2200: Unable to initialize device after 5 attempts.
[4423204.019000] ipw2200: failed to register network device
[4423204.019000] ipw2200: probe of 0000:02:02.0 failed with error -5
I'm back to 2.6.10-5-686 from Hoary.

Any time somebody tells you that you shouldn't do something because it's
"unprofessional," you know that they've run out of real arguments.
