getting mozilla thunderbird to group replies

thunderbird has a way to sort by threads which works similarly to
evolution's threaded mode.

someone is working on more gmail-like "conversation view" for evolution
for google's summer of code. Hopefully it'll be successfully included
into a future evo release.
