Playing movies

Hi

Thanks for all your suggestions. The problem with the slow DVD playback is 
almost solved. The only remaining problem is that where's the best place to 
put the following command, so when Ubuntu starts up the DMA is activated?

sudo hdparm -d1 -X34 /dev/hdc
