Firefox glitch?

I believe this is the bug that's been filed on this issue:

For now I downgraded to the previous version as described on this bug
page AND in the forum discussions.

IMPORTANT -- you will want to downgrade both packages at the same time
so there is NOT a line break in between the two lines, so here it is
with a backslash to indicate the broken line -- just copy and paste
this in your terminal window:

sudo apt-get install mozilla-firefox=1.0.2-0ubuntu5 \
mozilla-firefox-gnome-support=1.0.2-0ubuntu5

P.S.: Strange how difficult it is to search for bugs when the browser
is the problem!
