Palm Pilot Not Syncing

I had problems as well, but Evolution seems to sync ok so I just use that.

If you use Evolution, here's how I make it work:

In Evolutions menus, select "Tools" | "Pilot Settings..." Define an
entry for your Pilot. (I don't rember if or how much I had to
experiment with specifying different Pilot mount points.)

(On the "Pilot Settings" window that comes up, be careful to enable
the proper Conduits on the Conduits tab, or else some of your Palm
applications (like the calendar) won't sync with Evolution even when
you do successfully get syncing in general to work.)

At this point, hitting the Sync button on your cradle should get your
Pilot to sync with Evolution.

I've also noticed this: In order for syncing to work, I must have
Evolution up and running, and I must have executed the "Tools" |
"Pilot Settings..." menu command since the last time Evolution was
started. If I don't do this things, hitting the sync button on my
cradle will leave the Pilot trying to sync but not making a
connection. (I suspect that issuing the select "Tools" | "Pilot
Settings..." menu command launches a sync daemon.)

Hope this helps,
Christian
