Yes, me thinks Shipit could have an option whereby if people accept to
participate with the shipping costs, in return they are guaranteed to be
delivered within say 10 days. The length of the delay needn't be
particularly short (3 days is asking too mych...), however it should be
reliable, so that people at the other end, who rely on it for meetings
or whatever, can count on their CD being there. When you order say 100
CD's, being charged say 10 quid for shipping is nothing compared to the
costs of all those nice pressed CD, and the disaster of Linux meeting
with no "main meal" to cut your teeth on ! 
Then of course, individual/private people who order only one or 3 CD's,
could also use this option (much smaller fee of course) if they want
their CD's delivered fairly quickly. I know I would have used this
option for Warty and Hoary, and would for Breezy as well, should this
option be implemented by then.
