Hi All:

I'm trying to use the thesaurus in OOo, but it's greeked out on the
Tools menu. The help file says to open Tools > Options and then go
to Language Settings > Writing Aids. I can go in there and select
the US Thesaurus, but that will change my dictionary also. (It's
too late for me to learn how to spell colour without the 'u'.)

Also, if I go ahead and select the US setting, then the thesaurus is
only available if I start a new document. If I want to work with an
existing document, then it's greeked out again.

Synaptic only list two thesaurus's (thesauri? Hmm, spell check
likes that one) for OOo; one is US English and the other is Italian.

Does OpenOffice not have a thesaurus for UK English?

Thanks,
Ed
