The trouble, as I think Daniel mentioned, is that the mouse
and keyboard modules were separated from the xserver-xorg
package, and the Depends line for xserver-xorg didn't
specify that it depends on those modules.

I just did an apt-get upgrade, and the dependency problem
has been fixed. So do apt-get update && apt-get upgrade, and
you're all set.
