how to monitor hdd temprature

I've tested mine too, yesterday on my powerbook pismo. It was 48 
degrees, but I guess that's ok, because I never head heating troubles or 
harddisktroubles since I own this wonderfull maschine (bout 5 years 
now). 2 Weeks ago when it was really hot round here I've heard the fan 
spin up, I think the first time in 2 years ;-)
