Is it possible to run Ubuntu as Shared OS (Multiprocessing)?

Sounds like you're looking for something along the lines of Xen or dqueue.
PVM and stuff like that would also be worth looking into. Probably not worth
the hassle though, unless you're well setup with 5+ machines and have a very
demanding application.
