Hmm, they might be trying to use lmsensors. I haven't been able to get the
lmsensors working on my computer :(
But you can use mbmon which can show you the temp for the CPU and others as
well as the fan speed and the voltages.
This is a CLI app, but IIRC there is a package called xmbmon or something
similar and the GKrellm can also connect to it and display the data, that's
how I have it setup :)
