why can't synaptic install nvu

thanks guys.
i think my constant tinkering had caused some problem but i installed ubuntu 

lets see what happens.
and guess what while reading thorugh thsi mail google recommended me to go 
to apt-get.org <http://apt-get.org>.
i think its a great site.
but i was wondering how much problems can occur from using it.
