quasar accounting on ubuntu??

My pg_hba.conf (apart from the normal lines for the postgres user, and the 
lines to reject other connections) has a line like:

host    all         all         127.0.0.1         255.255.255.255   md5

Then it should just be a matter of creating a user for your db with a 
password, and setting up quasar the same way.  Quasar has PDF docs available 
for download which cover all of this in detail, by the way.
