PPPoE/PPPoA connectivity problem

thanks for the help , but this is what happened :

root at planet:/home/jupiter # apt-get install resolvconf
Reading Package Lists... Done
Building Dependency Tree... Done
Package resolvconf is not available, but is referred to by another package.
This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or
is only available from another source
E: Package resolvconf has no installation candidate

but i have the file and edited it manually so why the error ?
