To encourage you all: you all had more luck than me, because I tried to 
get freemind to run on a PPC, but I could't get java to run probably. 
There's no 1.4 from sun for PPC linux, as far as I know and the IBM 
compiler, which should be the best solution installs himself in /opt/ibm...
so no normal Progam finds it ;-(
