Freeze with live CD

Hello,
Following is a quote of someone having problem with Ubuntu live CD.
As I am not qualified to answer, I forward this to the list, if anyone 
has an answer, please reply keeping him in copy:
Hi,
When I boot on Ubuntu live CD, it freezes with the message:
"mice: PS/2 mouse device common for all mice".
There look to be a problem with my mouse and cordless keyboard, what is 
a pity because I would like to run Linux on my main PC...
Does anyone have an idea on how to solve this ?

voila quand je boot sur le live cd ubuntu il se bloque
la derniere phrase est:

mice: PS/2 mouse device common for all mice
probleme avec mon clavier et souris sans fil cordless qui a pas l'air d'etre
copain avec le monde libre :( ca m'ennui beaucoup j'aimerai passer mon pc
principal afin sous linux
qqu a une idée pour resoudre ca ?
