Hi,

My names is Yupanqui and I'm a new member in this list.

I have a problem, I'm trying to install ubuntu in the machine below: 
DUAL SERVER INTEL XEON 3.0 X6DAL 4GBDDR, SERVERBOARD DUAL SUPERMICRO
X6DAL-TG Dual Intel(r) Xeon™ EM64T Support,
Intel(r) E7525 (Tumwater) Chipset Up to 12GB DDR 333 SDRAM, 
Intel(r) 82541GI Gigabit Ethernet Controller, 4x SATA Ports via
Marvell Controller 2x SATA Ports via 6300ESB, On-chip SATA Controller

I tried to install the Ubuntu AMD64, but  when finished the instalation
and rebooted to initialize the system, it stop in this message
"Starting hotplugin system...".

What's this problem?

What's the best way to install RAID 1?
