GPG Keys and Signing Messages To This List

I don't know if anyone is experiencing the same problems as me when
trying to follow posts that have been signed by GnuPG.

Very often (in Kmail, Sylpheed-Claws, and Thunderbird/Enigmail)
posts"hang" while the MUA checks with the keyserver, and only finally
does the message come back that no public key could be found on the
keyservers.

My default keyserver is subkeys.pgp.net but I have also tried
earth.net.uk.pgp.net and sks.dnsalias.net with the same effect. Some
keyservers (and this applies to subkeys.pgp.net) are aliases for a
whole group of keyservers which get updated when a key is exported to
them; other get synchronized with each other several times a day. So
the only real reason that a key is not on the keyservers is that it
hasn't been exported to them.

Could all using GnuPG and using public keys to sign their mails to this
list, please ensure that their public keys are exported to OpenPGP
keyservers? Thank you.
