I agree with what you said above, about "...censorship is a bad
thing..." :)
I also have a question, on topic of course, I've configured Dansguardian
and squid to do this, also I redirect all traffic to the dansguardian
port and block all connections to squid. But all this setup can still be
bypassed, since I've configured a transparent proxy, for example if the
user is very smart he/she can use a public proxy on the Internet and
bypass the whole filtering setup I have. My question is how to stop
this, so even if the user tries to use a public proxy it will still be
filtered. At first one would say "well redirect _all_ traffic to the
dansguardian port", but this would prevent the users from accessing
their POP3 e-mail accounts with programs such as Evolution, Outlook,
etc, as well as SMTP, and others. Anyone have a solution?
