No /proc/acpi/ac_power after moving from sid to hoary

Hi,

I have a HP/Compaq nc6000 laptop. While acpi events never really worked
for me when I was running sarge and sid, at least it had and was able to
use /proc/acpi/ac_power for the Battery Charge Monitor (battfink) and
the like.
Since I moved to hoary, the file in proc is gone.
Is this a known problem? Couldn't find anything online, just the notice
that acpi works for some cases with the nc6000 at
