Laptop Install report: Compaq Armada 7380 DMT

I was just looking through this, and am curious if this persons
particular laptop worked out usuing Ubuntu Linux, and if so, which
version.  I have recently procured the exact same Laptop and it seems
to be in great condition.  I am wondering how well it would work on
Warty, which is what I have the CD for, or if I should download
something else.  If someone knows or has any information on this,
please let me know before I get started as I really would like to get
it running on Linux.
