Hi,
I have a Dell Inspiron 8500 Laptop with a Samsung CDRW/DVD SN324B.
Graveman 0.20 from grawert.net was never able to find my cdburner, even
if I specified it in graveman.conf (dev=/dev/hdc).
It just complained several times about not being able to open my hdd...?:
....
Error trying to open /dev/hda exclusively (Permission denied)...
retrying in 1 second.
...
I downloaded Graveman 0.3.4 from Savannah today, compiled and installed
it...
Voilá, it found my cd-burner and I have so far burned the Hoary Live CD!
I read the graveman changelog and in version 0.3.0 I found this which
probably solved my problem:
* Fixed ATA and ATAPI devices detection, 2 !
Maybe doing the same this can help someone else!
I only have a small? problem with some Gtk-CRITICAL errormessages when I
start graveman but they don't seem to make any problem:
