Wiki user name (e-mail address) - how to change?

Maybe I should mention now, before anyone goes and checks what are those
mighty contributions this guy has done to Wiki - nothing more than
changed one outdated link... but it was my first ever contribution!! :-)
But seriously, wouldn't this be a problem for someone who actively works
on Wiki and has contributed a lot. Wouldn't he loose the connection
between his identity (which is his username) and the work he has done,
when changing username?
