Do to my lame Internet connection, the last reply to
this thread went up in cyberspace. Please send again.
Here is what I have. The Visor HotSync cradle isn't
listed in Gnome device manager or when I do a lspci
-v. However, ls -l shows the following:

/dev/ttyUSB*
crw-rw----    1 root     dialout  188,   0 2005-01-27
19:00 /dev/ttyUSB0

Lastly, dmesg returns:

usb usb4: string descriptor 0 read error: -19

I brought this issue to the list before, but didn't
get a reply. Could this be the Visor HotSync cradle?
