I apologize if this has been covered recently. I searched for the subject but couldn't find it on the web forum. Any time I try to run the Synaptic Package Manager I receive an error which states: Failed to run /usr/bin/synaptic as root. Terminated with 1 status. Any clues as to what this means or how to resolve it? Thanks, Ben
