Sound with SB AWE64

Hi to all of you!

I just installed Ubuntu. Works fine! And the list proved of great help
to solve the minor problems I faced after the installations, like:
- access to root
- replacing totem-gstreamer by totem-xine
I have one problem left. I have no sound (I know, I should be ashamed!):
my soundcard is SoundBlaster AWE64 Value.
What should I do? Try to use simple words, for if I understood the
How-to's prose, I wouldn't ask.
