Totem giving error

Hi everyone!

I have some problems with Totem Movie player. When I used Debian
Testing I was able to play mp3 files on Totem. Now I can't. I get the
following error:

Totem was not able to reproduce «file:///home/pau/Desktop/file.mp3».
Failed to open; reason unknown

(it is possible that this was not the exact error message, because I
translated it from Spanish)

I downloaded XMMS and after changing the output channel (from OSS to
ALSA) I started listening without any trouble my mp3 files. Therefore
my soundcard is working OK right?

Do you know any solutions?
