Hi Buffalo Soldier,
sounds like the answer to a maidens prayer :-)
Could something be put in re - setting up an Internet connection.
This was something that is completely different from Windows.
As a newbie any information sites/mailing lists, would first need a
connection for it to be available, and I for one found it strange,
first with mandrake, had to install ppp, what's ppp.
then adduser "isp" dip, completely different again to Windows.
A page that opens when Ubuntu boots (similar to knoppix) with
this info would be a great help.
