What is going on!

Hi,
Earlier today I tried to install a printer using
Computer-> System Configuration-> Printer, I went
thru the sequences that the wizard presented and not
getting any errors I thought everthing was ok.When
I ran a test page the only thing that happen was
the job got put on the print queue.No matter what I
did I could not get it to print.So, I thought I
try http://localhost:631/admin. Now I get that I'm
unauthorized to use the server side to install a printer
and that I should use Computer->System Configuration->Printer.
How can I create a root user?
