[hoary] kde applications in ubuntu

hi list,
i happen to run some kde applications in ubuntu and wonder how i can
change the theme from default to another one so that the look&feel is a
bit more consistent. in hoary theres this controlcenter for kde, but its
just empty... ? do i have to install all of kde, then start a
kde-session and change the theme, or is this possible without installing
the complete kde-DE?
