Need help to get CD-RW burning to work

Hello,

Im in urgent need of help with burning CD-RWs. The problem is simply this: Nautilus doesn't write to disks, empty or already written. There is no problem with mounting CD-RWs that have data on them. The drive works as normal in that respect.

I looked at ubuntu-users archive, but couldn't find the awnser there. I think the bug  2265 might be related to this, but it didn't really help me to fix the problem. 

I'm visiting my brother to help him to get his data backed up, but I can't get it done because of this problem. I would be glad if wouldn't have to leave without getting his data safe.
