Hi Chris,
I don't have any problems mounting windows from a console,
just seems that I shouldn't have to do this every time I start up my
machine, and want to go into the Windows partition from Nautilus. I can
access windows from Nautilus after I have mounted it from a console.

During bootup it shows that the windows partition(hda1) is mounted.
I need to go into windows to print at the moment, my next step in the
learning curve is to install a printer (dot matrix, which up to now no
one has been able to get running , is on the linux printer list), but
want to get this prob solved first:-)
Thanks
take Care
Winton
