I don't have much experience with large volume mailing lists and
generally I'm not a heavy user of e-mail. I'm just a regular guy who's a
little overwhelmed by the amount of mail he gets from this list, but who
is trying to adapt as he does want to keep up with things around Warty
and learn more.

I'm a little suprised to see people having trouble with threads that
they don't want to read. One of the first things that I learnd to do
after subscribing ubuntu-users was to hit "Del" on messages that belong
to an uninteresting (from my point of view) thread. After learning to do
that I have no more problems with over hundred messages flooding in when
I get home in the evening and click "Get messages".

It helps if you set "Show messages in threads" (or what ever it is in
english). Then you get all the messages in an uninteresting thread
grouped together and you can just hit the "Del" button as if you were
signaling in a Morse code :-) This really works, I recommend you to try
it.

I'm interested in the subject of this thread and hole the reply-to thing
is actually pretty new to me. So if the thread goes on, I'll be
reading :-) I just wish people who have got enough of this subject would
start hitting "Del" instead of sending messages with unpleasent tone.

Regards,

Ari
