Switching video cards : "HowTo" ??

It would be nice to capture in the HowTo that you can not rely on
simply setting the runlevel to 3.  Runlevel 3 is a console log in for
almost every other flavor of Linux, but it still defaults to a
graphical log in for Ubuntu.
