-* My second problem is that I can't mount the CDROM. in Drives when I
select CD-ROM1 i get the following mount error:
Unable to mount the selected volume.
mount: special device /dev/scd0 does not exist
so for some reason I can't access the scsi CDROM.
but I can access the IDE CD-RW. the only problem don't seem to be
able to write onto it. I always get the following error message when I
select file/write to disk in the nautilus CD/DVD creator window.
Reload rewritable or blank media
Please replace the in-drive media by a rewritable or blank media.
I get it even with a new blank disk. THe CD-RW works as I can burn CD
from win 2k
I have tried to use xcdroast but it doesn't work either.
Any suggestions?

Same problem here, I can't get it to burn DVDs. Reports that no media
is loaded.
