[Hoary] since dist upgrade cant ntp update time

Hiya,
I dont know why but after i dist-upgraded a couple of days ago, Ihave
had a wierd problem that whenever it tries to update the clock it just
fails on startup. However I can update from the command line

#sudo ntpdate ntp.ubuntulinux.org

this seems to work and i get valid output, but it just fails on
startup, any ideas?
