Website design : what to use ?

I design websites for a living and my regular tools are Vim and a web
browser or two. That gives me an editor with syntax highlighting and,
by refreshing the browser, a WYSIWYG view in a separate window. I've
tried programs like Frontpage in the past (not DW though) but I prefer
this more detached way of working - ultimate control over the HTML and
also a reminder that the page is going to (hopefully) be viewed on
different browsers.
At work I check things on Firefox (my browser of choice) and also
Internet Explorer and often have to make adjustments for cross-browser
compatibility, that would probably get overlooked in an integrated
environment.
