(OT) Compiling tomboy on Ubuntu

I was using the latest cvs sources. I've just tried the official 0.2.2 
download: better, as it does have a configure. I get a dependency 
failure though:

 
checking for gdk-2.0 >= 2.2.3
                  atk >= 1.2.4... Package gdk-2.0 was not found in the 
pkg-config search path.
Perhaps you should add the directory containing `gdk-2.0.pc'
to the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable
No package 'gdk-2.0' found


Any idea what package I need to install to supply this?
