Something is wrong with your initrds...
You could try booting from Linux CD, using textconsole, mount your /
partition and chroot to it, mount the other partitions and try to fix
the initrd stuff. Have a look in the chrooted /boot for the files.
The utility mkinitrd (man mkinitrd) creates new initrds.
