Firefox instability in Hoary

Has anyone else had some serious instability in Firefox since the
recent Hoary upgrades?  I think I can narrow them down to after I
installed kernel 2.6.10, but I am not sure if the new kernel version
is responsible for this, especially since it has happened a few times
when I booted from the old 2.6.9 kernel.

Sometimes when I go to open a new tab or click on some links, the
browser just disappears.  It gives me no error message or anything,
just crashes and dumps me at my desktop.  It has happened about 5
times so far, and I have not yet found a pattern in what causes the
crash.

Anyone experiencing anything similar?  Anyone know how to avoid
crashing my browser?
