I was also an avid user of KDE a few years back (with Mandrake, SuSE, Knoppix, etc.). I tried Gnome with those distros, but I think that because I was just starting out with *nix I chose the pretty one over Gnome. Now, with Ubuntu and Gnom together (with some XFCE in the mix), I don't see myself using KDE anymore. Gnome is tasty. -- jakeslife
