I don't know if you still need this info or not as it's been a while
since your post. Maybe this will help others in the future.
I'm not sure I understand you correctly. Are you saying that the server
is already setup and you need to stream to it?
If that is the case, you should check out MuSE. It will give you a
simple form to fill out with your access details. Once it's hooked up,
you can stream from a number of playlists simultaneously as well as
live audio via a microphone.
It's available at ftp://ftp.dyne.org/muse/releases/ . There's a deb at
the bottom of the page marked "muse-streamer".
If on the otehr hand, you need to setup the icecast streamer as well,
the file you need to edit is called icecast.xml. Not sure where it is
in Ubuntu. Just do a find on it.
