nope, everything is fine here....
its simply illegal to distribute the wmv codec on open source CDs, its
only free for usage....so totem can only play all the free codecs by
default and you have to grab the additional codecs from a download
location for your private usage....
...same goes for rhythmbox and mp3.
ubuntu has a manifest that says it will allways be free of charge....as
long as we got laws like the ones matching mp3 (which costs a load of
license fees), wmv and all the other nonfree codecs you will not see any
of them on a ubuntu CD (or in ubuntu "main").
blame the RIAA, fraunhofer or the patent office of your choice for that.
